Ingredients required:
- 4 salmon fillets
- Regular sea salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoon chopped chives
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 spoon finely cut ginger
Procedure:
- First off, wrap each salmon fillet in plastic film and place it on the work surface.
- Now with the help of a mallet, pound the fish gently to about 1/6-inch thickness.
- Once you are done, now unwrap the salmon and move each flattened fillet to the serving plate.
- And then season the fish lightly with regular sea salt and coarsely ground black pepper and sprinkle with some chives.
- Now, in a small skillet, boil the extra-virgin olive oil and mix in the finely cut fresh ginger.
- After that remove the skillet from the stove and drizzle a bit of the oil over one side of the salmon fish (Make sure the fish should sizzle when the oil hits it otherwise place the skillet back to the stove) and reheat the oil again.
- After that, at the end, drizzle one spoon of the hot oil over each side of the salmon fish before you serve to the plate! That is it! Your Sashimi Salmon is now ready!
